Set password on xlsx

I need to set a password on a document *.xlsx after it have been merged, is that possible? So it need a password to be read..

I can't succeed in adding a password on an XLSX without having it encrypted. So merging is impossible.

Have you tried using PHPExcel to add password to the merged xlsx?
