Hello! I am building a Joomla site and need to query an external MS SQL database, display a table, and have a link to a document that shows a form view of the record. See screenshot. Can your product help me? See screen enclosed.

In your case, the best type of use if the "External script" method. It is described in the manual below.
The manual also gives an example of a MySQL connection to another database.
