htmlconv=look deprecated?

Hi Skrol29 and team,

Finally solved my problem that I could not use any 'XML Special Characters' or the .odt would turn out corrupt.
Solution:
1. replace all special characters with their HTML-code before inserting them into the doc
2. Append 'htmlconv=look' to the vars in the template.

But the documentation says this option is deprecated. I've tried 'htmlconv=yes' and it works so far, but I'm not sure if this is correct. Confirm please? THX!

Hmmm... This post should've been posted in the Openoffice-subsection. My bad.

Ok, it's moved.

It is deprecated mainly because the feature has moved to the HTML plug-in.
But also because it may cost time execution, because it somehow promotes bad usage, and  also because the HTML analysis of this parameter cannot be perfect unless it reach the power of a HTML navigator. So it may somehow disappoint users.
Nevertheless, the feature works quite nice. But it will probably disappear in the next major version.
