More Arithmetic Operators?

We have add and mod, which is nice.  Can we have division and multiply as default too? ^^

For subtraction... I haven't tried but if we can't do it by adding a minus number, then maybe we can use that too.

Re: More Arithmetic Operators?

Negative value are ok for adding.
Multiply can do division. I was thinking to add it but not sure it could be usefull. It can help to display duration for example.

Re: More Arithmetic Operators?

Oh it can help display a lot of things, all sort of unit conversion for example.  Trust your users to find use for it. =D

(Actually I was in need of a division... which I added by writing a plugin.  I can't believe how easy it is! ;-)

Re: More Arithmetic Operators?

I'm glad you apreciate plugins :)

I'm afraid giving a "mult" oprator will bring the need of a "fix" and "round", and then having combination of several of them. I have to keep something simple.

Re: More Arithmetic Operators?

My idea is we can have add and multi if only for consistency and the rest can relies on, say, a 'maths' plugin.
