Re: Export to Excel in linux environment

Hi,

Does Excel exist on Linux?

The plugin (and TBS) return the same result for all OS, and for all browsers. The changes of behaviors depends on the capabilities of the OS to support the feature (opening an Excel file with the application), on the behavior of the browser to preform the task (opening a downloaded file with an application).

If you're using TBSOOo to generate an ODS file, you can use
http://artofsolving.com/opensource/jodconverter
to convert to an Excel spreadsheet.
