A Joomla user needs help with links

Hello,
I'm not very technical, just started using joomla and needed a tool for dynamic pages. there seem to be very few joomla users here - a shame because with some simpler documentation TBS would be very popular. I have got the basics working, listing product data on a page and formatting it. I want to link the listing to more  info. Is it possible to make the links on my site work without setting up a php script please? I have read the manual and examples but it is difficult to understand for a non coder! thanks for any  help.

Re: A Joomla user needs help with links

Hi Rob,

You're right, to documentation is short, and the examples are too small.
This is probably because the plug-in is very young.

If your table is in the same database as Joomla, or in a database that can be reached using the same connexion, then you don't need any script to display a simple content. This is just like the example of the manual.
