Subtemplates include header information

I use a main template and I include a subtemplate with the onload-method:
[onload;file=sub.htm]
Both templates are valid HTML-files.
Both templates include var-fields.
But in the output the <head> section of the subtemplate is fully included, which means that the document isn't valid at all.

I've also seen, that this also happens with the Subtemplate-example on the TBS-pages.

Is there any way to avoid this?
