Re: Projects based on TBS

You can download the very forum you are visiting now from the download section.  It is not a public effort, but it is a fully functional publicly available project.

If you haven't already done so, I would advice you starts with the online examples, assuming you are familiar with PHP.  TBS's tag is rather revolutionary, and real life project can have mind-bogglingly complicated tags and block structure for a learner.

Re: Projects based on TBS

Hello Skrol29,
An example project in French is no problem, since anyone can use for example BabelFish (http://babelfish.altavista.com/) to translate what they can't understand. I use it all the time to be able to understand the French thread of this Forum. I don't know French language at all, but I can still understand the Forum discussions in French.
Thank you for all the hard work and the good example of service attitude you have given the community - not to speak about the brilliant product and the coding examples. : )

Thank you so much, Skrol29. You've done it again! Please receive my humble thanks.

A comment for other people over here:
As sheepy said above,
"If you haven't already done so, I would advice you starts with the online examples, assuming you are familiar with PHP.  TBS's tag is rather revolutionary, and real life project can have mind-bogglingly complicated tags and block structure for a learner."

When you have read and understood (most of the) manual and the online examples, it's time to have a look at the downloadable "Testimonials" applications.

If you need more advanced examples, then it's time to have a look at either the downloadable Forum application or the rdv.zip application Skrol29 gave here and/or Tom Henry's examples at http://tomhenry.us/tbs3/

All of them are good examples, and generously provided with comments in English, although the rdv.zip templates are in French. But e.g. BabelFish can help you there, if necessary. Often one does not need to understand the text in the templates, as long as one understands the TBS tags.
